Freelancer Identification & Verification Policy 369.Energy - Amendment

  1. Purpose & Scope

This policy outlines the identification and verification requirements for freelancers working with 369.Energy. The goal is to ensure trust, security, and professionalism while maintaining accessibility and flexibility for freelancers.

  1. Identification & Verification Requirements

All freelancers must submit the following documents before being approved to offer services through 369.Energy:

Mandatory for All Freelancers:

  • Government-issued photo Identification (e.g., Driver’s License, Passport, or National ID).
  • Professional License (if applicable to the service offered).
  • Certification of Training in Work Ethics & Professionalism (recommended for all but required for specific services).

Required for In-Person Services:

  • Fingerprint verification is issued by local authorities (if applicable).
  • Alternative Background Check Verification (if fingerprinting is unavailable, freelancers may provide a police background check, professional references, or industry certifications).
  • Transcripts & Credential Documentation (if applicable to the service offered).

Note: The uploaded files must specifically pertain to the requested documents. If applicable, freelancers must also provide contact information for the Police Station or Sheriff’s Department where fingerprints were obtained.

  1. Secure Submission Process

Freelancers will submit their documents through a secure document submission portal on 369.Energy. The submission process will include:

  • Categorized Upload Sections – Separating Identification, Licenses, Certifications, and Fingerprinting.
  • Mandatory vs. Optional Uploads – A transparent indication of which documents are required vs. optional based on the nature of services.
  • Automated Confirmation—Once their documents have been successfully uploaded and are under review, freelancers will receive an automated email confirmation.
  1. Fingerprinting & Alternative Verification Policy

Rather than a blanket requirement for all in-person freelancers, fingerprinting will be required only for high-trust positions or at the client’s request.

Who Requires Fingerprinting?

✔ Legal, Finance, Consulting, and Caregiving professionals.

✔ Freelancers accessing sensitive client data or working in private client spaces.

✔ Any freelancer where a client requests additional security verification.

Alternative Verification Options

If fingerprinting is unavailable, freelancers may submit one or more of the following:

✅ Police Background Check

✅ Professional References from Past Employers/Clients

✅ Industry Certifications Validating Trustworthiness

Clients may also request additional verification for freelancers before finalizing a service agreement.

  1. Review & Approval Process

All submitted documents will be reviewed within 3–5 business days. Freelancers will receive an email with:

  • Approval Confirmation & Next Steps
  • Request for Additional Information (if needed)
  • Denial with Reasoning (if the submission does not meet verification standards)
  1. Compliance & Updates

Freelancers must ensure that their identification and credentials remain current. Expired or invalid documents must be updated within 30 days of expiration to maintain active status on 369.Energy.
